Who are we?
Belgian Beer Export (BBE) is a cooperative enterprise operating in distribution of Belgian craft beer. In collaboration with partner micro-breweries, we ensure the promotion and distribution of their products.
BBE's mission
The story of BBE was born out of an entrepreneurial project carried out by a group of students from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Passionate about the art of brewing, we want to promote Belgium's rich brewing heritage, particularly that of the micro-breweries.
Belgium is filled with independent brewers who make a living out of creating innovative craft beer. Mixing tradition and experimentation, their creations deserve to be discovered and tasted. We have gone out to meet these craftsmen and have identified a recurring problem: logistics. Most micro-breweries operate in small structures. As a result, logistics often pose a challenge, as micro-brewers prefer to focus on the brewing, and have no other choice than to outsource their distribution.
Here is where BBE comes into play. We take care of prospecting, distribution and export for the micro-breweries, all while maintaining an open dialog and a trustful relationship.

Founding BBE
With a handful of cash, the company was created. At this stage, BBE is still just a university project.
Launch of activities in Belgium
After meeting several micro-brewers and well aware of their logistical challenges, we begin our work. Thanks to an old car, we started delivering out of the garage of one of our founders' grand-parents.
BBE warehouse
After several months of delivering in sub-optimal conditions, we acquired our first real warehouse.
Profitability
As our activities grew, we became profitable. More confident that ever, we double down on our efforts to further push the project forward.
Ambitions of export
For BBE, the year 2023 rhymes with export. Thanks to our growing network, we receive more and more requests from outside of Belgium. This year, we want to focus on export.
